Elicere Events is an Adelaide-based event planning and styling studio founded by two women who believe every celebration deserves to feel exactly like you. Your culture, your story, your vision, brought to life with care and precision.
We handle the planning, styling, florals, and on-the-day coordination so you can actually enjoy the day you’ve been dreaming of.
We're more than wedding planners
Most couples come to us having already spent weeks trying to stitch together a vision, a florist here, a stylist there, a planner somewhere else. The result is a day that looks assembled rather than designed.
Elicere was built to solve that. We are a complete celebration studio: planning, styling, and florals under one creative direction. Everything you see on your day from the arch behind you to the flower on your table is conceived, designed, and delivered by the same team.
We work with couples across all backgrounds, traditions, and styles. Intimate garden ceremonies. Grand ballroom receptions. Multicultural celebrations woven with ritual and meaning. Weddings that don’t fit a category at all. Whatever your day looks like, we bring the same level of care and creative investment to every detail.

Elicere Events was founded by Shamika and Cheth — two friends with complementary obsessions who realised that the best wedding experiences come when planning and creativity are completely in sync.
Shamika
Co-founder · Planning & Design
Shamika is the calm at the centre of every Elicere event. She manages the timelines, the vendor relationships, the logistics, and the thousand invisible decisions that make a wedding run without a hitch. If something needs to happen at exactly the right moment, Shamika has already made sure it will.
Cheth
Co-founder · Styling & florals
Cheth is the creative force behind every Elicere celebration. From the first mood board to the final floral arrangement on your table, she translates your vision into a space that feels intentional, beautiful, and completely you.

Every floral arrangement we deliver is designed with care — your palette, your mood, your vision. From bridal bouquets and ceremony arrangements to centrepieces and hanging installations, the flowers are always part of the whole picture, never an afterthought.

Where we go deeper is multicultural weddings. Shamika and Cheth have a genuine passion for celebrations rooted in cultural tradition, particularly Sri Lankan, Indian, and mixed-heritage weddings, where every element of the ceremony carries meaning. We understand the rituals, the timing, the significance of colour and fabric and floral choice. We don’t treat cultural detail as decoration. We treat it as the point.

We had the pleasure of working with Elicere Events for our wedding, and overall, we were thrilled with how beautifully everything came together. The flowers perfectly matched our colour scheme and English garden theme, bringing our vision to life. From the stunning floral arrangements to the elegant table settings and hanging chandeliers, every detail was thoughtfully executed. We received so many compliments from our guests on how breathtaking the entire setting looked.
Unfortunately, on the day, strong winds prevented the florist from being able to set up the outdoor ceremony arbour and the flower meadow around the cake as originally planned. While this was disappointing, the florist adapted beautifully. While we didn’t have the arbour we envisioned, the improvised ground arrangement still looked good and displayed well in photos.
Despite this minor setback, the florist's work was exceptional, and we would highly recommend Elicere Events to any couple looking for a creative and talented team to elevate their wedding décor.

Nargis and Chathanee make a FANTASTIC team. I wanted our food to look and taste great but was anxious it wouldn’t satisfy our guests. They were extremely helpful 😘 I had no idea what to order and they created a sensational food to suit our needs. All my guest just couldn't get over the food and the table deco. They are an absolute delight to work with! The BEST part - the food is delicious, fresh and there was definitely PLENTY!
